News and Happenings:

* The 2008 annual MURI review meeting was held October 18-19, 2008 at Rochester, New York

* A MURI option review meeting was held November 28-29, 2007 at UC Berkeley

* The second annual MURI review meeting took place July 18-20, 2007 at NIST, Boulder, Colorado

* The first annual MURI review meeting took place June 8-9, 2006 at the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City, Florida

* The MURI program kick-off meeting took place on June 1-2, 2005 at Princeton with participation from the entire team and representatives of the government intstitutions, industrial partners, and a representative from a parallel MURI program on sub-shot-noise measurements.
